Shareware: computer software distributed without initial charge but for which the user is encouraged to pay a nominal fee to cover support for continued use.

Open sorce: intellectual property, esp computer source code, that is made freely available to the general public by its creators

commercial software: (Or "commercial off-the-shelf software", COTS) Software that is produced for sale. This contrasts with free software, which is produced for free distribution, meaning without charge and/or without restriction on further distribution.
Some companies that sell software distribute some (versions) of products free of charge (but usually with restricted distribution rights), this would probably still be called commercial software. Conversely, software that an individual distributes for free, but for which he accepts donations, would still be called free software.

snow day

I did many things on the snow day. First, I slept most of the day. Second, I wen't over a friends house and played some video games. Lastly, I wen't back to bed. VERY FUN

     I feel very sad and sorry for Gabrielle Gifford. It's a shame that people go around doing these kind of things. The thing that I don't understand is that a normal non-important person can get killed and it wont even be on the news. It's not right how they talk all about important people when something happens to them.


     I think this will impact our nation in many ways not just because an important person got hurt. This was a very big, horrific event. Lots of people got killed and injured. This kind of thing does not happen all the time, unfortunately though it happend. I'm sorry
